Proactive International PR has strengthened its commitment to professionalism and high standards in communications by becoming an accredited corporate member of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA).

As part of the membership, Proactive PR has also been audited and passed the PRCA’s Communications Management Standard (CMS) – “the hallmark of PR excellence.”

The only accreditation developed by the PR and Communication sector for teams and agencies, the CMS standard is awarded to agencies that follow best practices in areas including leadership, client and campaign strategy, business planning, people and financial management and diversity.

“This is a significant step for Proactive PR as we continue to grow the agency and work towards our ambition of becoming a leading B2B tech PR consultancy,” said Proactive PR CEO Jayne Brooks. “We have always strived to deliver work to a high standard and the CMS accreditation is external recognition that the practices and policies we have in place are robust and meet industry standards. The reassurance this provides our clients is more important than ever, with trust and authenticity a current focus of the entire comms industry.”

The PRCA - the world’s largest professional body for public affairs, public relations, and communications – also provides its members with valuable resources. These include training opportunities, exclusive events and the latest tools and insights to help agencies thrive in the evolving landscape of PR.

PRCA Interim CEO Sarah Waddington CBE said: “We’re delighted to welcome Proactive International PR to the PRCA. Achieving the Communications Management Standard is no small feat—it requires a rigorous assessment of business processes, leadership, and commitment to continuous improvement. It’s a mark of excellence that demonstrates an agency’s ability to deliver high-quality, accountable, and effective work. We look forward to supporting Proactive International PR as they continue to grow and champion best practice in B2B technology PR.”
